Sorry about the last post there is something wrong with the way my phone posts updates.
So we stared off riding through the city and we all got a chance to see the arch again. We didn't stop though, we just rode by.
Then we rode by the Budwiser brewery. It was huge and you could smell the beer in the air from about a 1/2 a mile away. But I do have to admit that it smelled a little like stale beer the morning after a party.
The next 30 or so miles were pretty boring. Just hills and a few strip malls. We had first lunch in the parking lot of a hardware store, you know the usual pb&j.
After lunch we hit more hills. When we were going down one hill they had these reflectors in the ground that we had to weave in and out of. Slalom biking... One biking tip, when going down hills refrain from yawning or keeping your moth open. Bugs will fly in and you will swallow the, and people will laugh. True story.
We got to second lunch which was at a gas station. To mix it up I had a little pb and frosting sandwich. It's a bike and build invention.
After lunch we biked about 10 miles into the "city" of Potosi. I stopped with Jenna at a local doctor so she could get her stitches taken out.
After 30 minutes in a wonderful air conditioned waiting room we headed out for the last 10 miles of the day.
We are staying at a summer camp tonight. Right when we got in I headed over to the lake and went swimming. Then we had hamburgers and hotdogs for dinner. We all came back to our air conditioned cabins (these campers aren't kidding around). Most of us cleaned our bikes and then we set off some fireworks.
