Day Off in St. Louis

So for those of you who are unaware it just so happens to be all-star week here. Which means lots and lots of baseball fans!

I woke up at 8:30 which now days is really sleeping in. Took the metro downtown to Delmar St were we had breakfast at this cute little cafe. The food was so good. But I have to say it was a little weird being able to order exactly what I wanted off of a menu.

Then I took the metro to the mall. I hung out at the Apple store for a long long time, but I finally got my phone fixed!!!!!! I felt so lost for the past week and a half without a phone. It is like my only connection back to the real world.

Then I took the metro back downtown to the stadium where the all-star game slash home run derby was. We all hung out at the fan fest outside of the park. We got tons of free food and stuff! After that we went and got something to eat (yes we ate again).

We were all walking back to the metro and you could see the arch behind some buildings. It didn't look that far and it is what St. Louis is famous for so a couple of us decided to check it out. It was huge and so cool looking!It wasn't really what I expected at all, but I'm not really sure what I expected so..... On our walk back to the stadium the derby was just starting up and the fighter jets flew right over our heads.

Took the metro again back to the University of Missouri where we are staying. Had dinner, cleaned my bike, and thats pretty much it.

Also I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who reads my blog. It means a lot to me that people are checking it and don't mind reading my awful writing! So sorry for my horrible spelling, I'm doing it all on my phone and there is not spell check soooooo.
