In honor of July 4th I put a flag in my backpack and rode with it all day. So about 2 miles outside of Cadiz we got what we have all been waiting for..... No more hills!!!
The great state of Ohio proved to actually be flat! The next 10 or so miles were along this really pretty lake which was full of boats. It was so pretty, there were tons of people fishing and water skiing.
We were on that road for a good 25 miles and then stopped for lunch shortly after.
After we left lunch we stopped at this huge inflated eagle to take some pictures. A couple showed up and asked if they could take our picture. After we chatted for a bit and told them about bike and build to told us about the fair right by us.
So we headed over and they had tons of really cool old cars. Then a women came up to us and too us that the couple that had taken our picture gave her money to buy us all lunch.
Everyone at the fair was so nice and they all just wanted to keep talking to us. They were all so excited that we were doing this and it really made me feel proud. Ohio for sure has the nicest people so far!
About an hour later we headed out again. The road as long and sorts boring but we played games again which helped to pass the time.
We are staying at sportsplex, sleeping on the turf fields. We were able to watch the fireworks from our host site which was really cool.
