Potosi to Houston 92 miles

So we hit the edge of the Ozark mountains today. They weren't that bad though. About 15 miles into the ride we stopped to stretch and this little puppy came out and played with us. It was a little beagle that was probably only 3 months old, so cute!

We had first lunch at a gas station, which was apparently the only one for the next 26 miles. It was really nice and had a deli with  a sitting area inside of an old railroad car.

I wasn't feeling very well so I decided to get into the van for the rest of the day. Something I ate the day before didn't settle so well with my stomach.

The van ride was fun but I was sad that I wasn't riding. Except for when we saw this HUGE storm cloud in front of us. We pulled over for a second to talk to a rider and the sky just opened up. It was hailing and the wind was blowing so hard!

So we decided just to stay there and set up second lunch. After the storm passed another beagle puppy showed up and we played with him too.

We stayed at a little church in town and the parishioners were all so nice! They took us to their houses to shower. We were all really tired so we pretty much went right to bed.

Ps Houston is in Missouri, but it is in The county of Texas. Confused? Yep me too.
