Eagar to Sanders 82 miles

So there has been sort of a cold going around the group and this morning I officialy woke up with it. I didn't sleep well last night and my head felt like it was going to explode. So I decided not to ride.

The van day was pretty boring and I was bummed that I couldn't ride. But when it hit 95 by 11 am I realized that I made the right choice. A fever in 95 degree heat is not a very good idea.

Tonight we are staying at fire house. Since they only had one shower they decided to get a little bit creative. So everyone got their soap and the sprayed us with the fire hose and a truck! Then they set up a pool for us. Anyone who didn't go in at first was thrown in.

Most of us slept outside since it was cooler then in the fire house. There was a crazy wind storm in the middle of the night. But it cooled us all down which was refreshing.

All the fire fighters and EMTs were so awesome! They made us feel right at home. I have to say that was probably the best host to date.
